Self-proclaimed foodie Scott can often be found exploring Winnipeg’s restaurant life, vlogging his home cooking, or eating dinner with his monthly dinner club. When not enjoying the simple pleasures of life, Scott enjoys live music and is often seen going to DJ sets and attending concerts.
This organized Virgo has a Writing, Rhetoric, and Communications Degree from the University of Winnipeg, has had several works published in both Canadian and American journals and magazines, and even received the English-Speaking Union Prize for his article, “Time to BeReal: The Rise of Fabricated Authenticity on Social Media” published in Crossings. On top of this, Scott has received his diploma for Creative Communications with a specialization in Advertising and Marketing from Red River College Polytechnic.
Scott first joined UpHouse as a summer intern where he worked as a Public Relations Assistant. He then left for some months before returning to the team in a work placement through RRC Polytechnic as a Marketing Assistant. Throughout his internship positions at UpHouse, Scott helped to manage crises and frequently contributed to brainstorms. One of Scott’s many strengths lie in his writing skills, easily adapting to different forms of writing materials and creating engaging and motivating content.
Scott radiates positive energy, bringing creativity and excitement into every project. His commitment to excellence can be seen in his loyalty to UpHouse and his desire to use marketing as a force of good.
