Self-proclaimed foodie Scott can often be found exploring Winnipeg’s restaurant life, vlogging his home cooking or eating dinner with his monthly dinner club. When not enjoying the simple pleasures of life, Scott enjoys live music and is often seen going to DJ sets and attending concerts.
This organized Virgo has a Writing, Rhetoric, and Communications Degree from the University of Winnipeg, has had several works published in both Canadian and American journals and magazines and even received the English-Speaking Union Prize for his article, “Time to BeReal: The Rise of Fabricated Authenticity on Social Media” published in Crossings. On top of this, Scott holds a diploma in Creative Communications with a specialization in Advertising and Marketing from Red River College Polytechnic.
Scott first joined UpHouse as a summer intern, where he worked as a Public Relations Assistant. He then left for a few months before returning to the team in a work placement through RRC Polytechnic as a Marketing Assistant. Throughout his internship positions at UpHouse, Scott helped to manage crises and frequently contributed to brainstorms. One of Scott’s many strengths lies in his writing skills—he easily adapts to various formats and consistently creates engaging, motivating content.
Scott radiates positive energy, bringing creativity and excitement into every project. His loyalty to UpHouse and his desire to use marketing as a force for good reflect his commitment to excellence.
