Alex Varricchio




Alex is a tenured strategy and creative director and has worked with a range of national clients including Cargill, BDC, Richardson, Tourism HRCanada, Telus and others. Having noticed a trend in businesses bringing their marketing in-house, Alex started UpHouse in 2017, with the goal of elevating in-house marketing teams and the brands they promote. Instead of competing with in-house marketers for work, he focused on a collaborative business model based on filling in the gaps – not replacing in-house talent or duplicating efforts.

His experience in lead nurturing and business development helps him create highly effective marketing for our clients, from the aforementioned national clients non-profit ones like CGLCC, Cerebral Palsy Association of Manitoba, Reel Pride and Reaching Out Winnipeg. As a notoriously gracious host, Alex is sure to make everyone feel welcomed, whether it be around a dining room table or a boardroom one. It’s this attitude of inclusion that drives UpHouse’s desire to put advocacy and allyship into action in marketing and beyond.
